After graduating in 1977 from the University of Texas in Austin with a BS in Advertising and design, I began my career 36 years ago as a merchandiser/ designer in apparel. My career evolved into retail in the Homewares and Furniture Industries. I exercised my creative skills in store design, merchandising and advertising which ultimately led me to design and manage an Internet E commerce website. Website creation as well as writing blogs became so sophisticated and in some ways not real or honest anymore. So, I said goodbye to the corporate world.
About a year ago, I asked for my crayons back, I started painting which I had not done for 36 years. Now I get my life’s pleasures through painting . My sources for creative ideas are all around me in my Cedar Grove mountain landscape, desert landscapes, my horses and just living the good life here in New Mexico. I hope to be able continue to paint and learn from the many great artists that reside in this land of Enchantment.
